A Tradition of IT and Business Excellence |
MATRIX was founded in Atlanta on February 7, 1983, by Bill Gower, Frank Glenn, John Scarbrough, Lambert Chandler, and Ron McGinty — five men with a shared vision of raising the standards in the IT staffing industry.
Drawing from their personal experience in the information technology field, as well as their understanding of the high-tech marketplace, the founders of MATRIX developed a clear vision of what their new company would stand for. The MATRIX vision includes four basic objectives:
- To emphasize strong dedication to professional ethics.
- To invest in resources such as technology and research so that MATRIX clients and candidates have access to the best industry information.
- To concentrate on career counseling so that MATRIX can provide the best skill set and personality match between clients and candidates.
- To encompass both permanent placement and contract consulting services to meet all the placement needs of MATRIX clients and candidates.
The candidates, contract consultants, and client companies who work with MATRIX will tell you that these objectives have become tenets of the company; they define our every action. They have, for example, been the impetus behind our membership in the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), which ensures adherence to industry standards and ethics.
You benefit from this commitment every time you come in contact with a MATRIX Associate. Our clear vision and adherence to the highest professional standards have helped MATRIX become one of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. At the same time, these principles have guided us to becoming a leader in IT staffing and services.
Our vision is now reality. We look forward to helping you share in its rewards when you partner with MATRIX. |
