 | COBRA allows you the ability to continue your medical, dental, and vision care benefits beyond the date they terminate. Insurance benefits terminate the last day of the month in which your contract terminates. A COBRA notice is generated and sent certified return-receipt within 30 days of this date. You have up to 60 days from the date that you receive this notice to elect to continue coverage. Payment for this coverage is retroactive from the date that your coverage terminates and must be received within 45 days after the date of election.
