MATRIX Medical Benefits Vs. Other Staffing Companies

MATRIX is proud to invest in our consultants by offering one of the best benefit packages in the industry; one that provides comprehensive coverage to protect them and their families.

When comparison shopping, it’s very important to remember that not all Staffing Company benefit plans are created equal. With any medical plan you should ask to see a benefits summary which gives details about each plan option, the coverage and limits. Below are a few points to consider when comparing the MATRIX benefits to those of other staffing companies:
  • MATRIX pays up to 75% of the premium cost for consultants. Many staffing companies don't subsidize any portion of the premium, leaving consultants totally on their own to pay for their coverage
  • MATRIX offers comprehensive coverage, with low deductibles and co-pays, and high benefit maximums. Some staffing companies are offering "low cost" plans with extremely low benefit maximums. However, these plans could mean financial disaster to an employee or dependent who encounters a large claim or health crisis. Be sure to read the fine print in the benefit summary.
  • MATRIX has an extremely short waiting period for benefits. You can begin the first of the month following your hire date. Some competitors have up to a 90-day waiting period, which may be shorter than your contract!
  • MATRIX allows contractors to cover their spouses/domestic partners and children.
  • MATRIX has a staff dedicated to managing benefits. Whether it be negotiating competitive rates and coverage for their employees, or helping their employees get coverage or claims questions answered, they are dedicated to bringing MATRIX consultants excellent coverage, pricing and service.
